THERAPEUTIC PET BED

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE -Please read carefully

Great choice for your arthritic pet. Your pet will receive a gentle radiant heat that
will keep it warm and deliver therapeutic benefits for any muscle and joint conditions. Don’t forget to
tell all your animal loving friends about the new Thermotex line of therapeutic pet beds.

You will find that after as little as two weeks use, the older animal will gain agility and be more playful
as the therapeutic heat helps your pet with conditions such as arthritis. Initially, you may find that your
pet spends more time in the bed as well due to the great level of comfort that they receive.

HOW TO USE YOUR PET PAD

Your pet pad is very simple to use.
Simply plug the pad into any 240 volt outlet and turn the pad on the Low setting. That is all you have
to do. The pet pad uses very little power and will cost around 4 pence on the low setting for a 24 hour
period. Thermotex pet pads are not to be used on the High setting. The low setting provides the best
therapeutic benefit. It may take your pet a couple of days to get used to using the new therapeutic pet
pad. This is normal.

Washing Instructions

The cloth liner is washable as is the pad itself. Before washing or dry cleaning the pad you must
remove the electrical pad by opening the convenient Velcro closure, and removing the white insert.
Make sure Velcro opening is closed. Pad should be washed in lukewarm water and left to air dry. Do
not use automatic dryer. Place white insert back into the pad with the stamped side facing up.

Important Safety Instructions

Do not immerse the pad in water unless the electrical pad has been removed.
Do not use pins or other metallic objects to hold padcover in place.
Never use pad without outer cover in place.
Occasionally check the inner PVC around the heat pad to ensure that it has not deteriorated
over time.
Do not fold or bend the heat element.
Do not pull the pet pad by the cord or use the cord as a handle.
Do not use the pad with any type of liniment, salve or ointment.
Pets should always have the option to move off the pad if desired.
Do not use on the High setting.

Heat Tolerance

Most animals have different heat tolerances and you will need to experiment with the pad to see what
your pet likes best. Always start on the low setting only with no extra lining inside the pad other than
the liner that comes with the pad. If your animal finds the pad a bit warm, add an additional liner about
the same weight as a regular bath towel. This will lower the surface temperature of the pad making it
suit your pet but will not alter the therapeutic effect of the pad. You will soon become aware of your
pet’s preference.

from defects in workmanship and materials under normal use and service, for a period of one year
from the date of purchase.
